I have been using this as my EDC knife for over a month now. It gets plenty of use between cutting foam/cardboard, food prep, and all the other odd jobs throughout the day.
It came razor sharp out of the box.
I am quite surprised at how well it holds an edge. I have only sharpened it once since I received it. It still slices paper like a razor.
Finally, a knife I can be proud of owning.
It was a little lighter than expected(6.8oz), but perfectly balanced.
The Damascus blade and handle are beautifully crafted and both blade and handle are very ergonomic and sturdy.
Very comfortable to hold and use.
The blade is ornate but is still very easy to clean and sharpen.
The sheath is nice, but the threads have started to come out on their own around the snakeskin and gourami skin. I may take it to my Leatherman for repairs at some point, but it has not become an issue worth fixing as the issues are mostly aesthetic.
Customer service was also very helpful and polite.
Should I come into some extra money, I would definitely purchase more from Pro Survivals.
